A voice journal that remembers you
Some thoughts only make sense out loud. Speak freely, keep the words, and talk them through with Aria, an AI guide who remembers what you have shared.

Sound familiar?
It's 1:47 a.m. You're replaying what you said in the meeting, word by word, plus three better answers. Your notes app holds six journals you started and dropped. You don't need another blank page. You need to say it to someone who won't get tired of hearing it.
With Reeborn
So you say it. Two minutes, half-whispered into the phone, and it's on the page. You share it with Aria. She doesn't tell you to relax. She asks: last month it was your sister, now your manager. Who else do you go quiet with when you disagree? You put the phone down with one sentence you didn't have before, and a plan for tomorrow.
Why speak instead of type
Typing makes you edit. Speaking lets the first, honest version out: the half-finished sentence, the thing you did not plan to say. That is often where the real material is. In Reeborn you can open the journal, tap free speaking and just talk. Your phone's speech recognition writes down what you say. Only the text is kept, never a recording.
Not in the mood to talk? Write freely, answer the question of the day, or pick a guided template: gratitude, an evening review, a trigger map, a dialogue with a part.
A journal that talks back, only when you want it to
Most journals hold your entries. Reeborn also helps you see what they have in common. Aria reads an entry only if you share it with her. When you do, she remembers it next time, asks a question that goes one level deeper, and over weeks shows you what repeats on your Inner map: the same argument with a new person, the same Sunday dread, the same way you go quiet when you need something.
You can also skip the journal and just talk with Aria by voice and hear her reply in a calm voice. After each conversation you get a short reflection to keep.
How it works
- Speak or write in the journal, whenever you want.
- Share an entry with Aria if you want to explore it. Or keep it private.
- See your patterns on the Inner map as they repeat and change.
- Come back to your body with a short breathwork or meditation practice.
Private by design
Full conversation text is deleted 7 days after each session; Aria keeps only the short reflection and the patterns, which you can see. No ads, nothing sold, and your words are not used to train AI. Voice journaling is part of the Voice plan; free writing and the question of the day are free.

Which one fits
If you want a beautiful, long-term record of your life on every device, Day One is a strong choice. If AI journaling in many languages, on Android or the web, matters most, look at Rosebud. Stoic suits a structured morning and evening routine. Open is built around teacher-led breathwork and movement classes. Reeborn is for when you want to talk things through out loud with a guide who remembers you, go into shadow work, and come back to your body, all in one iPhone app.

A space to slow down and come back to myself
I’ve been using Reeborn for a week and it’s become part of my evenings. I finally have a space to put my feelings into words, and the app helps me explore what’s underneath my thoughts and emotions instead of just logging them. The daily prompts are always on point, connected to what I shared that week or even that same day. At night, I do the somatic movement exercises and a guided meditation before bed. As a mom who’s intentionally slowing down her life, closing the day in my body instead of my head has made a real difference. It fits beautifully with the way I want to live.
Questions
Is there a free voice journal in Reeborn?
Reeborn is free to start, with free writing, the question of the day and 20 messages a month with Aria. Free speaking (voice journaling) and talking with Aria by voice are part of the Voice plan. Core costs $9.99 a month or $39.99 a year and Voice $21.99 a month or $109.99 a year in the US App Store (prices vary by country). Yearly plans start with a 7-day free trial.
Are my voice recordings stored?
No. When you speak in the journal, your phone's speech recognition turns it into text and only the text is saved, never a recording. Aria's spoken replies are deleted automatically, usually within an hour.
Can Aria read my journal?
Only the entries you choose to share with her. Everything else stays in your private journal. When you share an entry, Aria can remember it and connect it to what you talk about later.
Does Reeborn work on Android or the web?
Not yet. Reeborn is an iPhone app and needs iOS 16.4 or later.
Is Reeborn therapy?
No. Reeborn is a tool for self-reflection. It is not therapy, medical care or a crisis service, and it does not diagnose or treat anything. Crisis resources in the app are always free.
